Patient Advocacy & Aging Support

When you do not know what to do next.

Aging, healthcare, and long-term care systems can feel confusing, emotional, and overwhelming — especially when decisions need to be made quickly. KSH Aging Solutions provides patient advocacy and family support services to help families slow the chaos down, organize the facts, and move forward with more clarity.

This support is especially helpful when a loved one has experienced a sudden health change, a new dementia diagnosis, a change in behavior, a hospital stay, or growing concerns about safety at home.

  • Patient advocacy for aging adults and families navigating healthcare or long-term care concerns
  • Navigating a new dementia diagnosis, hospitalization, discharge plan, or sudden decline
  • Preparing for or attending care planning meetings, discharge conversations, or facility tours
  • Helping families identify the right questions to ask physicians, hospitals, facilities, or care providers
  • Reviewing care concerns and helping organize next steps
  • Creating written care plans, family resource lists, and follow-up recommendations
  • Supporting emotionally difficult conversations about safety, care needs, dementia, and quality of life

Featured Framework

The T.E.L.L.S.™ Method

Behavior is communication. The T.E.L.L.S.™ Method helps caregivers interpret behavior patterns, recognize early signs of escalation, and respond with purpose instead of frustration.

For organizations, this creates a shared language for dementia-informed care, reducing burnout, improving documentation, and building care team confidence.

Lee’s Legacy

Reduced-cost and sponsored advocacy support for families in crisis.

Lee’s Legacy was created from the belief that no family should have to face a healthcare crisis alone. Contributions help KSH Aging Solutions provide pro bono, reduced-cost, or sponsored patient advocacy and caregiver support to families who need guidance but cannot afford private support.

This may include support for families navigating dementia, sudden health changes, care concerns, long-term care decisions, or overwhelming healthcare conversations.

KSH Aging Solutions is a privately owned business and is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are not tax-deductible and are used at the discretion of KSH Aging Solutions to support families in crisis.
