Aging Readiness Roadmap
A clearer starting point before care decisions become a crisis.
The Aging Readiness Roadmap is a self-guided planning tool for families who are trying to understand what may be needed next in aging, caregiving, housing, safety, finances, and support.
It is designed for families who need more than scattered internet searches, but may not need or be ready for ongoing 1:1 advocacy support.
- Review current care concerns, safety issues, support gaps, and planning needs
- Think through home care, senior living, long-term care, and family support considerations
- Identify questions to ask before a crisis, hospital stay, or major care transition
- Clarify what matters most to the older adult and family decision-makers
- Organize next steps into a more practical, realistic plan
Best for
Families who need structure, clarity, and a practical place to start.
What you leave with
A personalized roadmap to help guide conversations, planning, and next steps.
The Roadmap is educational and planning-based. It does not replace medical, legal, financial, or clinical advice.
The T.E.L.L.S.™ Method
Behavior is communication. The T.E.L.L.S.™ Method helps caregivers interpret behavior patterns, recognize early signs of escalation, and respond with purpose instead of frustration.
For organizations, this creates a shared language for dementia-informed care, strengthens caregiver confidence, improves communication, and gives teams a practical framework for responding to difficult moments.
KSH Books, Articles & Caregiver Tools
Support that families and caregivers can return to when they need it.
KSH creates books, articles, and caregiver resources that make aging, dementia, caregiving, and difficult family conversations easier to understand.
These resources are designed for families, professionals, children, and caregivers who need language, comfort, education, and practical next steps.
- KSH Journal articles and caregiver education
- Children’s books about dementia, family change, and resilience
- Printable caregiver tools and planning resources
- Behavior and mood tracking resources
- Family conversation starters and educational guides
Direct 1:1 advocacy support is limited.
KSH is not currently operating as a full-time private advocacy practice.
KSH Aging Solutions is currently focused on speaking, training, education, writing, books, and the Aging Readiness Roadmap. Direct family advocacy or consultation support may be accepted only on a limited, case-by-case basis depending on timing, scope, and fit.
Families who need a starting point are encouraged to begin with the Aging Readiness Roadmap or explore KSH caregiver resources.
- Limited case-by-case consultation may be available
- Ongoing crisis advocacy is not currently a primary service offering
- KSH does not replace medical, legal, financial, or clinical advice
- Families in urgent crisis should contact appropriate medical, legal, emergency, or local support resources
This change allows KSH to continue serving families and professionals in a sustainable way through education, planning resources, speaking, and training.
