Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Katie Sue Huffman.

I created KSH Aging Solutions after spending more than 15 years walking alongside older adults, caregivers, and families through some of the hardest chapters of their lives.

Over the years, I saw the same need again and again: families wanted clarity, caregivers wanted tools, and professionals wanted education that felt practical instead of theoretical.

Today, KSH Aging Solutions focuses on speaking, dementia education, professional training, caregiver resources, books, and planning tools like the Aging Readiness Roadmap.

Families don’t need more noise. They need a clearer place to start.

What We Believe

Caregiving, aging, and healthcare decisions should not feel impossible to understand. KSH exists to bring practical education, honest conversations, and compassionate tools into moments that often feel overwhelming.

Families deserve clarity.

Aging decisions are emotional, expensive, and complicated. Families need practical tools that help them understand options and take the next right step.

Caregivers deserve tools.

Whether at home or in a care setting, caregivers need education that is realistic, compassionate, and rooted in what actually happens day to day.

Stories deserve dignity.

Through KSH Books and caregiver resources, we create materials that educate, comfort, and bring human experiences forward.

Our Mission

To make hard moments easier to understand.

Our mission is to help families, caregivers, and professionals navigate aging and dementia with more clarity, confidence, and compassion.

KSH Aging Solutions now focuses on scalable education and planning support through conference speaking, dementia-informed training, T.E.L.L.S.™ Method workshops, caregiver resources, books, and the Aging Readiness Roadmap.

Katie and her brother-in-law Lee
Lee’s Legacy

Every family deserves a clearer path forward.

In 2025, my brother-in-law Lee faced a sudden health crisis that turned our world upside down. Even with years of healthcare experience, our family struggled to understand the system, make urgent decisions, and find care that honored his wishes.

Lee’s story became part of the heart behind KSH Aging Solutions and continues to shape the way we teach, write, speak, and create resources for families and caregivers.

Direct family advocacy is currently limited and accepted only on a case-by-case basis. Families looking for a starting point are encouraged to begin with the Aging Readiness Roadmap or explore KSH caregiver resources.

Not sure where to start?

Families can begin with the Aging Readiness Roadmap. Organizations can request speaking, training, or T.E.L.L.S.™ Method education for their team or audience.
